  What is Lex and the City Tours about?1st sportive tour: Experience Lex and the City with our enthusiastic local guide Scoot•A•Round Amsterdam® footbike tour through the centre of Amsterdam. During this footbike tour, we are footbiking along the hotspots of Amsterdam, like the Museumplein, Magere brug, Rembrandtplein and the Dam.
During the tour your group will enjoy loads of surprises. And we will adjust the speed to your wishes. We will have a break on a terrace or in a typical pub. Your guide will be Wink•A•Round: this means his or her guiding is 'accompanied by a wink': so not too serious and not too long!  Scooting (footbiking) is a sporting activity and you will give your body a good work-out. We offer the possibility for pregnant woman to rent a regular bike instead of a scooter (footbike).
The scooting (footbike) tours will start and finish at Café Hesp (including a terrace!) along the Amstel. Standard route: Amstel Hotel - Theater Carré - Skinny Bridge - Rembrandt Square - Nieuwmarkt - Red Light District - Dam square - 9 tiny streets (very hip item) - Rijksmuseum - the Jordaan - De Pijp. It is possible to start and finish at another point in Amsterdam. You can also choose a tailormade theme, e.g. Amsterdam Island Hopping. 2nd sportive tour: Experience Lex and the City Team Game Choose for a combination of teamwork, challenge, exploring Amsterdam a different way and dynamic movement! Everyone can participate. For example: pregnant women can rent a regular bike.  At the Lex and the City Team Game we will split your group into small subgroups. Each group will start from the central starting point; a 110 year' old een pub (with a royal terrace) at the Amstel river. Equipped with the Smartphone you will move yourself by footbike (scooter) from point to point.
 During the tour you need to make some small plays and register it, you need to make some pictures in Amsterdam, singing some songs and navigate. And the Smartphone will help you with all these things.After the game there is a grande finale in a 110 years old café, where the performances of the groups will be shown on a laptop.
The winning group will also be announced in the café.  After the Team Game experience you will receive a disc with all the pictures and videoclips the groups have made during their Team Game. Everybody will receive a certificate with his/ her name and the winning place. You can book this adventure starting from 9 persons. The person who books this adventure can play for free. You can also rent the scooter (footbike). The starting point is at café Hesp, along the Amstel. Our scooters (footbikes) stand in our shelter beside the café. We will lend you a sportive backpack with a first-aid kit, a repairkit for the scooters and a chain to lock the scooters during your brake. You can rent a GPS with us too. In the GPS touristic waypoints are programmed so you will pass by the most famous hotspots. The GPS will lead your group, with a minimum of 9 persons, simply to the next point. Technical knowledge is not necessary. Our GPS is a useful device to navigate through Amsterdam: you can wear it along your wrest (like a watch). Scoot with us along the IJsselmeer and the picturesque villages where time seems to stand still. Enjoy a picknick along the way, in the middle of nature.

Rhythmically scooting with your group on the music of the Bike•A•Round DJ who has a soundmachine on his back! The Lex and the City DJ will take care of the music, will give the group the scootingrhytm and will let you see some hotspots in Amsterdam!  This outing connects great with the touristic theme 2007 of Amsterdam: Rhythm, Music and Dance.
Scoot along the Amstel on the beats of Relight My Fire and other disco classics. Or give a list of your requests to the DJ! Don’t worry, you don’t have to have a super stamina!
