Rural skate tour south of Amsterdam with city start and finish: 45 km experience (80% countryside / 20% city)

We start in Vondelpark, skating through its green paths before rolling past the Olympic Stadium and out of the city toward Amsterdamse Bos. From there, we follow the old tram line through Amstelveen into an elegant residential street lined with villas.
We continue toward the Amstel near Nes, where a relaxed lunch spot awaits with a terrace, smooth asphalt right in front, and the option to swim in the river.
After lunch, we skate on to Ouderkerk aan de Amstel and cross to the other side of the water. This section combines classic Dutch scenery—windmills, boats, and countryside villas—with long stretches of high-quality skating asphalt.
Back in Amsterdam, there is another swim stop and a more urban pause to take in the city. From there, we return via a top skating route along the Sarphatistraat back to Vondelpark.
