Structured overview of the (80%) countryside skate tour above Amsterdam

- Vondelpark –> Marken one way: 28 Km (bus back, or take the (nice!) boat to Volendam, and then go back by bus.)
- Vondelpark –> Broek in Waterland one way and through Marken: 40 Km (bus back)
- Vondelpark <–> Marken, round tour: 53 Km
- Rural North, Waterland tour: Vondelpark <–> Uitdam, round tour = 49Km
- Longer? Skate back from Volendam (or Monnickendam).
- Shorter: starting at the mini ferry to North.

Locations, spots
Vondelpark, that well known urban bike/skate road called “Sarphatistraat”, Amsterdam East , dutch downhill, and the , Landmarkt (eco store and terrace with even great tarmac ;) ), New path on the dike from Durgerdam. Not finished yet, however well do-able all the time, Swimming location, Uitdam (Tea-garden), Marken (toilet, supermarket), Broek in Waterland, urban North (virtually all (good) cycle paths, easy peasy), ferry to North, leading back to the park.

If we start in the Vondelpark, the first part runs through the city.

There is a bus from Marken to Amsterdam Noord (metro/subway connection). Other public transport options exist, but they are limited and not fast. In Broek in Waterland, buses go to Amsterdam city as well.
Watertaps are only available in Marken, Durgerdam, Broek in Waterland and in Amsterdam. Uitdam has a terrace and also a private tea-garden. (picture benetah)
